At the foot of the Penya de l’Or, in the valley of Tárbena, Bolulla is located. Serrano town of complicated orography. Almond trees, locust trees, and olive trees inhabit its’ mountainsides meanwhile citrus fruits and loquat take advantage of the irrigation in the lower part of the valley.

Our history
The origin of Bolulla is a Muslim farmhouse that a 15th century document places in the Vall de Garx and whose place name could be derived from the Arabic Abu-i-Ùlyà. Together with the current depopulated Moors of Alcia and Garx, he formed the same barony that since the mid-16th century was the property of the archbishopric of Valencia.
